Position: Business Intelligence Analyst
Work Location: Berkeley, California
Job Description:- Analyze complex data sets including business trends, sales pipeline, enrollment pipeline, contractor service pipeline, student academic record, and financial reports, etc. and provide insights;
- Develop highly scalable and performant data analytical systems that can identify best matches between students, schools, and companies;
- Work with internal teams to streamline data collection processes, optimize data analytical processes and improve data insight presentation framework to improve the operating efficiency of Bear Tech;
- Build and run data queries and analyses to support the development and dissemination of new data insights, and implement marketing and outreach campaigns that work in support of Bear Tech;
- Perform complex data research and analysis to support business operations including creating data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends;
- Compile and manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales, resource matching and client success results and metric reporting;
- Influence prioritization and key business decisions through data-driven insights;

Required Education: Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
Required Experience:- Minimum of 1-year experience managing databases by analyzing and processing data sets (including data analysis, data visualization, and data integration).
- Minimum of 1-year experience using SQL for database administration.
- Minimum of 1-year experience doing qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- Minimum of 1-year experience using a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python), and web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics) for data analysis.
- Minimum of 1-year experience using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) to craft data-driven insights and visualizations to communicate insights.
- Minimum of 1-year experience using cloud-hosted database.
